I'm hosting this weekly event that is quickly turning into the highlight of my week. La Carafe is arguably the oldest bar in Houston and you can feel the history in the candlelit air. Each week I welcome a local/regional songwriter to the stage (or floor, anyway) to share their stories and songs. Rumor has it the place is haunted- and by the looks of all the strange orbs showing up in pictures - it might just be true. Come grab a glass of wine and hear some great songwriters in an intimate setting. Bring cash, because they are a cash only establishment. This week features Steve Straker.
